Inspiration: We see the use of a Patronus Charm often in the Harry Potter series. It's an incarnation of the caster's innermost postive feelings and used to protect. A full-fledged Patronus takes on a fixed animal form that is often significant in some way to the withc or wizard. The Patronus is usually a whispy blue, but I see deeper shadows, plums and rich magical color involved too.
