One of the best parts of my birthday, has got to be the cards…. (ooooh, and frosting)

Yummy Blues

A little something for a little cutie patootie – she happened to have a rough week last week and, I think, needs some pretty blue knitty love….

Other Details: Very cute with the contrasting rib! The sizings are very generous – I think the 12-18 month size will fit up to a 3-4 year old.

Change is Pretty Cool

You really can’t go wrong when cream of tartar is on your shopping list – not for cooking, but for natural dyeing.. The fun has begun!

Happy Feet

I’ve been slowly stocking up on these amazing lil’ shoes for a few special people who will be having wee ones this year. I was sorting through my pictures and came across a few from one of Johanna’s craft fairs last fall. Look at all those colors! The football ones are a favorite of mine. My little cousin Kenny is sporting a pair of those along with his Giants hat I made… Remember that?!

Around and Around

I envisioned a 2-3 year old going pumpkin or apple picking in this. Or maybe just romping around in the leaves – fall colors just make me smile.

For such a quick knit, it took me way too long to complete. I had most of this done a few months ago; the last sleeve was finally finished the other day. A little friend of mine tried it on at Knitsmiths this past Sunday and it looked so cute – now for the Acorn Hat!
