I fell in love with this pattern last spring, and finally found some deserving yarn when I visited Colorful Yarns this summer. I breezed through the first half of the scarf, but then, like lots of other projects, it was forgotten about until last month. Lots of knitting and a few days later – a finished Flutter Scarf!

Pattern: Flutter Scarf, by Miriam Felton
Yarn: Curious Creek Fibers Meru in Mysterious Night, 1 skein
Needles: Addi Lace 24″ US3 (3.25mm)
Measurements: Approximately 58″ long and 8″ wide while blocking
Started: July 26, 2008
Finished: December 25, 2008
Other Details: I did 44 repeats on each half of the scarf, rather than 50

Have a wonderful weekend!

That scarf looks amazing! I have a skein of that yarn in a burnt orange color….and it just might need to become a flutter scarf. Thanks for inspiring me with your beautiful knits and pictures!

Beautiful! I was not instantly drawn to that scarf, I think because of the color in the original picture (which you linked to). But seeing it in that gorgeous blue…makes me reconsider the scarf!

You chose a great colorway for that. So was it a fast knit, or are you just a fast knitter? :)
