It’s been a while since I’ve wanted to knit socks - I forgot how much I enjoy the tiny stitches on the tiny needles…

The pattern is Spring Forward from the new Knitty. I thought the pattern would be great in a subtle overdye colorway, so I pulled out a skein of Tea Leaves and off I went! The colorway is very unusual, its basically a pale rose color overdyed with a light olive. I think these socks will go with everything when cooler weather hits, don’t you think? I’ll have more of this colorway and lots of other overdyes in my first Saturday, June 21st store update.

Now, for the second sock!

the pattern does work well with those colors as they, the colors, don’t hide the pattern of the sock. while i LOVE the caye with the pattern and love working with the yarn itself i think it is a bit bold for the pattern; still i do love the way it looks so far…i’m only starting into the second pattern repeat so there’s a bit of work still to be done!

thanks for posting the socks/colorway….: )
