I can’t believe how the past few months have flown by! Sadly, the blog and my knitting have been neglected. But, the good news is that we bought our first house and moved mid-August! Our new house still needs a studio proper, and a little TLC, but it does has everything we could ask from Colorado.

Our almost 2 acre little gem:

Other than the crazy amount of house-hunting and dyeing of massive amounts of yarn the past 7 months, we managed to squeeze in a triathalon mid-Summer, 4 weddings, a huge backyard garden, and a trip back to Boston and Vermont. I wonder why summer flew by?! Happy Memorial Day to each and every one of you!!

Yep, still here! Trying to get a grasp on the craziness that life has to offer. I am hoping to calm things down after we (hopefully) buy a house, get settled, and make some changes to the business. I’m trying to take each day at a time and think balanced thoughts. We are still really awaiting Spring here in Colorado, hope you are all having a beautiful May!

I’m planning on using it for a baby sweater, and think I’ll have sport/dk weight yarn. Any pattern suggestions?

I don’t think twice about it, but some people thing its so funny/hilarious/awesome/crazy that I dye yarn outside year-round. Now, this isn’t really a choice, its more of a fact that I have zero studio space. I refused to continue using my kitchen as the studio when we moved to Colorado, and I have been standing firm. It does stink on some colder/snowier days, but I really do enjoy being outside and I’m never short of fresh air. I will hopefully have an amazing studio soon, but for now, I am enjoying the outdoors..
